How to Mount a Game With PowerISO PowerISO is an image processing tool that can emulate virtual disc drives for the purpose of ripping and burning DVDs or CDs. It is also useful for extracting files on discs to access important information without having to load an entire CD or DVD. Mounting a game with PowerISO is a quick and simplistic process that can make playing downloadable game content a breeze. Difficulty: Moderately EasyInstructionsThings You'll Need: Computer PowerISO program Downloaded copy of any game that needs to be mounted (ISO format) Step 1 Download PowerISO and install it to your computer, following the prompts for installation. Step 2 Save the PowerISO icon in your Start panel by clicking the button asking if you want to do so at the end of the installation. Step 3 Right-click the PowerISO icon on your Start panel and select the "mount" option. Step 4 Select one of the available virtual drives from the pop-out menu. Ordinarily, two virtual drives will be present, but you can operate up to four. Step 5 Search for an ISO file in the Windows Explorer window that pops out after selecting the virtual drive. Many downloaded computer games are ISO files. Step 6 Double-click the ISO file for the game you are wanting to mount. A menu will pop up asking if you want to view the game's folder or install/run the game. If the game is already installed, simply select the "Run" option to play the game.
